What do you use your Ipad for?
A golf course is a terrible waste of a perfectly good rifle range. -Lt. Col. Dave GrossmanTags: None -
I don't get as much use out of it as i had hoped, but it was still well worth the price for what i do use it for. which is colo work. in collocations with no desks, and no chairs, its a TON easier messing with email and spreadsheets on the ipad then a full size laptop.
its also fun to blow up zombies from an AC-130 while on the can.

Note taking when i dont have my notebook (Penultimate w/ stylus)
Touchdraw is pretty good for making schematics when CAD isn't available
Quick to whip out IMDB for movie references
Forum trolling

Mine is always in front of me, mostly browsing email, and I store and review tons of PDFs. Newsletters, books, curriculum. I also use it as my traveling presentation unit....it's my go to presentation device, compact, virtual pointer, etc...so much easier than the days when I hauled my laptop around....
hBO Go is awesome, max go too.....need to check OT zombie gunship..."Cum catapultae proscriptae erunt tum soli proscripti catapultas habebunt."

I'm an airline pilot so I have my manuals, navigational charts, weather services, Angry Birds, and my gun laws apps. :-DNRA, CGF, GSSF, SAF member

I travel a lot, so mostly email and web surfing, the navigator program, program to find places to eat (and Starbucks), solitaire, movies to watch on the hotel TV and on the plane, address book and calendar. I did a two week cross country motorcycle trip this summer an it was worth every penny I spent buying it.Comment

You can use the integrated iBooks app for that. Very easy to use.
I've downloaded a ton of manuals for various home devices (and some of my guns) as PDFs onto it. Much easier than having to dig through drawers to find that damn manual.
Been traveling with it a lot, I read books and news on it. I've sometimes used it to watch a movie via Netflix. It's also great to control my iTunes-enabled computer when I play music.WTB: French & Finnish firearms. WTS: raw honey, tumbled .45 ACP brass, stupid cat.Comment

I use mine for my small business. The main apps I use are RingitupHD (book keeping), tapitalk (using it now, Internet forum browser) and deliveries (can scan all shipping labels to track progress, email tracking numbers and delivery).
It has turned out to be a very functional toy. It is not as powerful as a laptop/desktop, but I do like it. Some of the apps see to have a steep learning curve.
Netflix and Angry Brids also reside on the iPad.
