Sure. BF3 is alright, I'm hoping the new Ghost Recon will bring back the more realistic tactical play. The Call of Duty play style running and gunning gets a bit old. I miss the GR simple HUD and where it only takes a few rounds to kill.

I definitely Don't think bf3 is like COD where you can just run and kill, at least when you're playing rush or conquest. There is definitely an advantage to those who make plans and stick together

I'm so looking forward to MW3 being released.

BF3 will be a much more interesting experience when all the RPG Campers go back to Modern Warfare and we can play with some level of tactics, as opposed to coming up against a room filled with guys holding RPG's and indiscriminate mortar fire.

But yes, I second the Hardcore or Bust motion presented earlier. If I shoot someone in the face, I expect them to die, not turn around and take my dogtags.

Couldn't agree with more. I actually came up against a team that wasn't particularly skilled individually but that knew how to work together. Lemme tell ya, as much as I trust in my own skills with a tank, I can't deal with three SMAWs being fired at me simultaneously from three different directions. Those guys actually knew a thing or two about planning a solid defense.

I guess now I know why sending tanks into urban warfare without an infantry screen is suicide.

See this all the time... and its especially useless when there is no second gunner in the tank, its suicide. Easier for the tank to shoot the mines while the gunner scouts and takes out RPG threats. Also, none of he tank drivers ever wait for infantry, they just go plow out into the battlefield and get manhandled.

I love, love, love scout helicopters and people that know how yo fly. There's nothing i love more than dropping my scout in behind enemy lines and planting a spawn beacon.

I love seeing guys team up and take out a tank. I especially like when you have a squad who takes it upon themselves to monitor the traffic choke points and do everything in their power to prevent vehicles from getting in and supporting their guys. Just a few guys with AT mines and rockets is all it takes.

Something I like to do is mine the roads that lead to the next base when I know the current one is lost. Anything to take the momentum away from the other team and slow them down a little.

ok, so how do we team up together. i got on last night and saw three calgunners, i joined the game but two were on the opposite team. how do we play together?

Played with some calgunners today and this is what we did:

1 Joined into an xbox live party
2 Then to squad up, one of the people has to go to "quick game" then it says "manage squad" and then they invite whoever they want to be in their squad
3 Those people join and everyone stays in the same squad
