    Netflix Viewers

Does anyone use any type of viewer to watch Netflix on their TV? I've seen this one online; Costco sells a BlueRay player that can access the internet and let you watch Netflix as well as DVDs/BlueRay.

The one above as well as Costco's can either do wireless or hardwire; I'm guessing hardwire would be best because it would likely be faster?

    Suggestions appreciated!

I use our Wii to stream from Netflix. However, I am considering a Roku box for a second TV. I have friends who have the Roku box and love it.

Yeah, but I'd never be able to watch TV 'cuz my stepson would be playing games.

Netflix is great. We watch it via Apple TV, iPhones, and our computers. Both HD and normal output movies available.

I have one from Costco. Wireless Sony BluRay player. Works great when ATT pulls their head out and makes my internet work. Make sure you get the one that has wireless built in not the "wireless ready" one.

Not a dumb question, and no you don't.

You will need an Itunes account to purchase items from Itunes, but not needed for netflix.....just a wifi or hard connection.

Xbox Live has the netflix option also. (Paid Service)

Actually I have three ways. Blueray player hard wired to network. Xbox 360, hard wired to network. PC hardwired to network. All video displays to LCD screen in family room. All three work great. The PC is what I use more. It's a just more flexible and a better Netfix interface. YMMV

I have been very happy with the Roku box - http://www.roku.com/. We have several at our house and we bought one for my 80 year old mother-in-law, and she uses it daily and likes it, too.

It will also play Amazon video-on-demand and from other video sources (not any video source - it's not a web browser, doesn't get YouTube).

The Roku is an excellent device. I would go that route. As far as wireless over wired, you are correct that a wired network would be best. However, if you have an 802.11N wireless network and an N capable device, you should be good to go with high quality video. Personally, I'd stay away from the AppleTV as it cannot handle 1080p video.

Lets see I use my computer at work during lunch. At home I have a Samsung BR that accesses Netflix also the X-box too. My wife's wii can also access it too.

I would use a hardline connection though, more reliable imho.
