Got to Brea at 7pm, saw a few hundred people in line and got in the back. 15mins later a lady came out and gave me a voucher for for pick up tomorrow because they wouldn't be able to process the people in time before closing.

Be back tomorrow with a few magazines. Although theres plenty of eye candy at Brea Mall!

my friends got their iphones today at best buy with no wait (pre-order). Best buy handled it the best by setting up appointments.

I had a pre-order at the apple store. Didn't go too well. It took 1.5 hours total but that was with a near fist fight, security escorting me out of line, and me pleading with iphone staff

Apple really messed this one up. They had two lines. Both preorders and walkins and they were taking both at the same time. They were even letting people get two at a time.

I'm suspecting this entire apple shortage was bs. They had plenty of phones for everyone. Best Buys also got a "suprise" shipment. All this was for hype.

AT&T is launching 4G later this year, you'll have to wait until this time next year for the new iPhone (Apple never breaks their product release cycle).

thats still some disappointing news, i guess ill wait for a revision before getting my hands on one. From the videos they claim that ur skin might be shorting the cell antenna and the wifi antenna. I would think that would actually boost the antenna instead.

Your body is made up of water, water absorbs RF signals very well (i.e. blocks them).

I was expecting FaceTime to have a clearer picture than it did. Kind of pixelated and low resolution, not even 30 fps. But decent and a long way from what cell phones could do, and will now be doing as a standard in the future.

Android had it first, at higher resolution/fps.

My *FREE* iPhone 4 will be here on Tuesday (ordered on launch day). When the 4G version comes out next year, i'll upgrade again!

How is it Free you Ask? My 32g 3Gs is now Jailbroken on iOS 4. It's carrier unlocked so it can be used for any GSM carrier. I'll be selling it on Tuesday for $325, completely covering the cost of the iPhone 4 upgrade, including Tax & Shipping! I'm doing this for everybody in the office.

My wife and I both picked up our phones yesterday at hillsdale mall after work. Line was about an hour long. I to am trying to sell my 3G iPhone see below.

Mine arrived at my office at about 11:30 on the 24th. Had it activated shortly thereafter. Completed the porting of my number, wiped my blackberry and tossed it on the desk of our helpdesk tech by quitting time.

So far i haven't experienced any problems and the coverage/reception seems far better than my Blackberry had on TMobile. I'm happy with it so far.

Word on the street is there will be a 4.0.x Jailbreak within moments of the 4.0.1 firmware release from Apple, expected soon. They didn't want to release a JB and have Apple pull a last-minute patch to 4.0.1 to close the JB.

One JB author has indicated he's waiting until iPad 4.0 release expected in a few months.

MY iPhone came from NYC yesterday. No problems whatsoever. Hooked up to my car stereo with bluetooth. Sounds louder than my Gen1 iphone, the dual camera is cool, Facetime is awesome, like the video but have Flip Mino for that. It is faster than previous as well. I was the first one in my office with one since all of OC was out.

Apple for the win! I have no dropped calls yet. It is all about where you are.
