Think I'm over modern gaming consoles

I finally decided to pull the trigger and buy a PS5 a few months ago, but to be honest I only did it to have the "latest and the greatest" but yes the suckiest thing was the fact that the hard drive gets full so fast but nothing a 2TB SSD couldn't fix. I was scouring craigslist the other day and saw backwards compatible PS3 in mint condition and bought it too, now I am able to play all games from PS1-PS5 in just 2 consoles .

I have every console ive ever owned since a kid in the 80?s.OG nintendo w rob the robot,gameboy i got in 89,snes was our xmas present the year it released.sega master system and game gear.sega saturn and n64 all still work.still got my playstation 1,2,60 gig backwards compatible 3 has ylod.the 4 i dumped a seagate firecuda 2 tb in and my 5 bought release day just got a samsung 980 2tb with gear sink in.my series x is great because game pass is the netflix of games,literally.though if you upgrade your ps sub you have a nice catalog as well.kinda like my modded vita

Yes the PS5 is a good size but I have more then enough room. I even leave it vertical. Also just recently got the PSVR2 and it’s a blast. Have a few games and it’s a definite time sucking device.

Rockdrums is a blast too. Along with Call Of The Mountain.

I read that when you have it sitting vertically the Liquid Metal can run down onto the board and kill the system. Has anyone here heard of this?

I've heard it, don't know how much truth there is to it. Mine hardly gets played so I'm not a good test case for reliability.

This has occurred with defective ps5. But there are more that hass not had this issue.

But it is a good "stress test" to put a brand new ps5 through. Have it standing for the first few months with heavy gaming sessions.

The first Horizon game was significantly better than Forbidden West.

I recently tried to play through Far Cry 6 since 5 was so good and 6 sucks ***. It?s a woke nightmare and you get lectured by trannys.
