This. Win10 is my last version of Windoze. Will be GNU/Linux as my main OS from now on. If needed I'll run Windoze in a VM, but I doubt it.Wow...Microsoft releases latest version of Bloatware....
No thanks, I'll stick with my GNU/Linux distros, generally Debian these days. Debian not only is easy to run, easy to upgrade, but much more efficient with the resources. And LibreOffice kicks any version of Microsoft Office, *ESPECIALLY* O365, in the gonads for actual usability.
I upgraded an older couple from MS Windoze to Debian, and they were remarkably impressed with how easy Debian is to use.
Similar good things can be said for the Ubuntu variants; they're good, too, and I'm typing this right now on the Ubuntu box.
Microsoft? No, thanks, not on any computers that I own. No more. There is no week nor day nor hour, when tyranny may not enter upon this country, if the people lose their supreme confidence in themselves -- and lose their roughness and spirit of defiance -- Tyranny may always enter -- there is no charm, no bar against it -- the only bar against it is a large resolute breed of men.

I ran the "debloated" Windows 10 for a couple of early revs, but the later versions had issues with the debloat script where associations and applications went a bit whacky. ( https://github.com/Sycnex/Windows10Debloater )
It does look like it was updated 3-4 months ago, but since I had to reinstall, with so many glitches, I stopped debloating.
Hell M$ is tracking my SH!+ due to my Office365 subscription, it auto-ties-in w/ Win10 when you plug the 365 login to the Oraface products, by default it seems even with a stand-alone Oraface 365 account.Comment

I don't use any "debloated" WinX. I disabled Cortana, Edge, use a Win7 search, and I disabled Automatic updates. I also fixed the Telemetry, so it don't "phone home to Mama."I ran the "debloated" Windows 10 for a couple of early revs, but the later versions had issues with the debloat script where associations and applications went a bit whacky. Why don't you make the point instead of making people watch a lengthy video. BTW, if you are talking about having to sign in with your Microsoft account that will only be true for the Home version.
Furthermore, this thread is starting to resemble "why I hate the NRA" posts on why one should join the NRA. If you don't like Windows, fine, I get it, but why do all of us have to know about it in a thread about W11.sigpicComment

Will you need to upgrade your hardware for 11, security concerns and even a mention of potential environmental impact. A little geeky but he breaks it down pretty well for the layman.
