OMG Far Cry 4!

I do NOT know if I would want Far Cry Primal. I like guns, and I like the take downs in FC 3 and 4 and I do not know that you could jam a stick through someone's chest as easily in FC Primal... But I have not played it yet.

I have a friend who really likes it, I played with it for a few minutes, but I completely lost interest in it, plays like a Far Cry game yes, but dang it I want my guns.

I figured out the way to play Escape from Durgesh DLC.

You grind grind grind to beef up your skills and weapons, THEN you start over once you have crafting high or maxxed and with all ammo/guns you need, complete a few missions to have items at the LZ and then go make your escape.

Some missions are only good while you are alive, other rewards will only be good until you get to the LZ.

Example: Complete PAGAN missions and you have things for THAT time only, once you die they are GONE.

Complete outpost raids and fortress raids and you have those things at the LZ until you get to the LZ, then if you fail, they are gone (I think)

I got to the LZ and I have extra fighters there, extra ammo all over the place and a mounted gun. I failed though because my character had weak guns, they blew up my helo.

Then I found the Buzzsaw and Shredder and picked up the M79 and went back but I ONLY had some ammo (pagan EYE for EYE mission) and NOTHING else was there, no mounted guns, no mortars no fighters no NOTHING. Thankfully I had about 8 mines to toss mines everywhere and the Buzzsaw was my medium range/short range sniper machine gun. I was able to fight off everyone by myself and I ended up escaping. I would have preferred to have fighters though and mounted guns. So there ya have it.

The buzzsaw is inside the fortress that has the prison with the tunnel in it. There is also an outpost that has the M79. It is the one at the top of the winding road with the caged bear and the two pyro guys guarding. It is easy enough to wipe out the alarms and kill the other guys with mines and a bow, and then the nade launcher is inside the red door house (as most guns are). The shredder is over near the fortress, but on some shrine called dead end or something, it is inside with body armor and a diamond/ chest of ammo.

Also, that Vepr looking AK rifle that has a NICE little post sight on it is at the fortress next to some ammo crate on an ammo crate as well as in the forest at the house with the hole in the fence and the three bodies or so that are covered up laying side by side. I prefer that over any assault weapon they give you (standard speaking, not signature).

I found the Predator rifle as well. It is between the fortress and where you go from finding the shredder. You try to climb up the cliff, and you will find several areas for grappling, then you go up and make a left, you will have a LARGE jump that will deploy your wing suit if you are not careful. If it does you gotta switch to the parachute ASAP or you die. Then once you make that jump, there is a small canyon that you can follow and it has a tunnel. Grapple up that tunnel and there is the mini-matic crossbow and the Predator Rifle (silenced sniper) I have not figured out where the semi auto 50 cal or AMR whatever is, the bull pup. But if you do find it, it will not be silenced or have a scope on it most likely. Well, maybe a scope, but no silencer. The crossbow will have iron sights. No red dot or reflex or optical...

Oh well, I need to go get my gear maxed out now so I can escape in style and have my peeps to wave to as I fly over them...


Does Far Cry Primal allow you to learn animal takedowns?

I REALLY wish they allowed you to learn animal takedowns in Far Cry 4. I am sick of a pack of wolves making me waste them all just to give up my position. I wish I could chain kill them all...

Also, for the first time I used the pistol takedown. It was pretty cool. (Takedowns happen so fast...) I thought the game was weird or broke for a second though because I jumped on a guy from my spot above him on a large boulder (Death From Above Takedown) and then I saw the flash to hit Enter or Mouse 1 and I hit Enter and I stabbed him, then reached down and pulled out his 1911 and the game just aimed at the guy in front till I decided to hit Mouse 1 and then it shot the guy in the head and showed me the gun was empty before throwing it away. LoL! I need to do that more often. I do not know how long you can go without shooting though.
