    Gun sitter?

So we're going to Colorado for 2 weeks this summer, yes the little treasures are all tucked away in the safe which is bolted down.

I don't want to leave the house for that period of time even with the safe, any short term storage ideas?

Have some house sitters. I don't always take our dogs with us but regardless if I do I always have some friends come and stay at our house. I leave plenty of beer and food. Everyone happy.

          I hire my youngest son.
          He gets:
          1) His preferred food and drink
          2) Some extra cash
          3) Time away from the roommate
          4) Closer trip to his job

          He has to:
Feed the dogs and look after the place.

I also have a couple neighbors that I trust.
(The rule is that we call each other if there is a moving van in our driveways.)

Excellent post OP. I think about this all the time. I am paranoid. If someone were to peel my stash, I would flip my wig!!!

Well the first thing you should do is post on a public forum that you will be leaving your guns alone for 2 weeks. Even without exact dates, thats plenty of info that an obama voter could use

For some of us that would cost more than a 3 week Mediterranean cruise.

How big are these lockers? How many long guns could you store there?

Insurance and a alarm system. I do not worry much about material things. Life is to short to hover around my house concerned with "what if's".

Trusted house sitter, and don't tell them about the safe.

Next, camo it, tablecloth over it/stuff piled next to it/on it or give it an new facade -- slip a refrigerator box around it. Get creative.
After watching WTC Bldg #7 being razed, and considering it's main occupants..

I stumbled onto this note while checking advanced weapons..
"911 = false flag. WTC 7 was brought down by demolition. 47 floors came down in 6 1/2 seconds - not hit by a plane. Just one of hundreds of absurdities that occurred that day. Wake up".

Im not sure you would have to give them a call.... Ill be calling my local range to day to check and see if they have them,.... this way I could store a few pistols there and go shoot after work from time to time.... I hate leaving guns locked in my truck at work for any length of time ....

This and maybe a gps tracker inside the safe or liberty safes sells an alert box that notifies you if the safe is moved or the temp. changes.
