Daewoo 10 round clips?

Got a buddy here in San jose looking for some 10 round clips for his Daewoo k2 .223, anyone know where to steer him?

Second if he has RAW papers I'd guess he's got preban mags he can use.

10 round mags don't stop the felony for having that rifle in this state without RAW papers.

The Daewoo K-2 is make/model banned in CA.
If this is not a RAW, it is a felony to possess in CA.

All Daewoo rifles use STANAG magazines.

yes the Best 5.56 rifle made ..the lovely Daewoo uses AR magazines. Your friend does have another issue though..unless he just wants lower profile magazines: )

...I had to look it up too, looks like mini 14 clips would work, as would AR clips, pretty much any .223 clips.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but his freedom may rest on a fine point. Being pre-ban alone won't keep him out of jail. Is it properly registered with the DoJ?

Preban means nothing. Before the ban took effect, he had to have specifically filled out and send in his assault weapon registration paperwork. He would have received back confirmation that his firearm was successfully registered as a Registered Assault Weapon (RAW). This was not something done at the gun store. This was not something that happened automatically just by owning it prior to the ban.

Assuming he did all that, my understanding is they just use regular AR-15 style mags you can get almost anywhere.

If he didn't get his RAW registration done, it is too late now. Possession of a K-2 without the RAW paperwork is potentially a felony, so if that's the case I'd figure out how to no longer possess it.

Yes his is pre ban, yes he went and did the legwork to get it properly reg. Thanks again for all the legal mumbo jumbo lol.
