Now that everyone who wanted the 9mm has bought the .380 they'll introduce the 9, so they will buy one of those too.

I'm really curious to see if the frame is the same. If so the guys that SSEd the .380 G42's are gonna be stoked. With a case length of just 2mm longer for the 9mm I suppose it's possible. The only reason I didn't SSE a 42 was because it was a .380. I'm gonna be kicking myself if it ends up being the same frame.

although, OAL on the .380 is 25mm and is 29.69mm on the 9mm. that's a 4.5mm difference that's a big difference to try to feed through the same mag well. I dunno, has anyone even tried to put a 9mm round in a G42 mag?

I could see saving a couple mils with a hollowpoint round, but I just don't think it will fit.
