I have more than one gun. Some are prettier than others and some are collectors items that would be hard to replace. None are more important than the people in my life that I care about.

If I allow someone to handle one of my firearms and it gets damaged, the fault is mine; either I chose poorly or fate was against me that day. Accept it and move on. Be happy you can indulge your desire for this kind of nice thing. It is not a gift given to all.

I brew'd and thought I could fix it but no I took it back to have him fix it since I paid for it. He hastily fixed it and put sanding marks on the top of the slide... It really ruined my love for the firearm. Its gone to a new home and the funds put to a new precious firearm.

Went shooting with my fiances uncle. He brought a glock, i brought an heirloom supermatic citation. While he grabs his gun of the bench at the range he knocks mine off onto concrete with the slide locked open. He picked it up and tried to act like its no big deal except for the fact that after that the slide never went into battery after. Took me countless hours with a sharpy and jewelry file to finally get the slide to close. I havent gone shooting with him since lol.

Hey. I just tried shooting a shovel with a .45 ACP and it barely dented it. Shovels are tough.

Proof or it didn't happen. And if it works just think of all the money you can make selling your new "trauma plates".

So I guess the OP will never be moving his safety lever... after all, it leaves a scratch.

On the other hand, the roommate needs to be smacked around and forced to hold a heavy framed portrait of Mr. Kalashnikov at arm's length for hours as a punishment for being careless enough to drop a firearm. That or turn him over to the AK Operator's Union for use as a training dummy...
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

I'm very disappointed with the Calgun moderators for not deleting thread

Grow up and get over it. Now that's an interesting phrase to use in your admonishment.

CK, you didn't mention if he even had permission to handle it.

Next would be a very stern azz chewing for being a putz.

For these others telling you to just get over it, remind them that for a fist full of cash and a signature or two, they can drag it behind their car for the next 18mos for all you care.

                            Until then, it's your stuff.

After watching WTC Bldg #7 being razed, and considering it's main occupants..

I stumbled onto this note while checking advanced weapons..
"911 = false flag. WTC 7 was brought down by demolition. 47 floors came down in 6 1/2 seconds - not hit by a plane. Just one of hundreds of absurdities that occurred that day. Wake up".
