Nahhhh, like everyone else said, they're probably fine but if you ever get ammo that looks weird like that, and you're questioning it, don't shoot it.

Your gun and your fingers are worth more than $26 for a cheap box of .38 special.

The only "weird" ammo that I'll shoot is .22, if the .22 bullet is a little loose in the casing I will still fire the round. Idk if it's a good idea to do that but a clerk at a shooting range told me it was ok and I believed him

NEVER use somebody else's reloads. Factory reloads are fine. I'd toss those.

        When in doubt
        Toss 'em out.
Ammo is cheap enough to not have to risk your gun/eyesight/life on dubious ammo.

They are probably fine as far as condition to shoot as other have opined, but I probably would dispose of them given you do not know if they are factory loads or somebody's poorly done reloads. I hate throwing things away that are probably fine, but in this case, as other have stated, I would be on the safe side and trash em.

How about just taking the rounds to a local gunsmith and have them look at them? My opinion is when in doubt go to a pro and leave the amateur advice alone.

Well, lead is a very soft metal, and it's pretty easy to bang up if it's just free floating in a bag. However, if you're in doubt don't use it. It's not worth the risk.

I won't fire rounds that I don't know the origin of, period. That's a darn big thing to take a chance on. I mean you wouldn't fire rounds you found on the ground at the range would you?

When in doubt, throw them out.

If you reloaded, I would just pull the bullets and keep the cases

                        Reloading 101. Don't shoot anyone else's reloads.

Yep. Hold the gun close to your face so you can hear any differences. Report back.

If you wanna gamble with your grill, give 'em a spin. Suggest you consider a finger or two in that equation. If 10$ is more important, maybe you should stop shooting all together. Keeps the rest of us safe.

This is a good time to buy a bullet puller, eventually you will get into reloading and the tools will NOT get cheaper in the future .
personally i like the Dillon products.

The girls featured in the " Blue Press" are a nice feature too .

Yeah regular pliers werent working. I'm still uncertain about reloading because I don't see myself buying guns in non nato calibres besides .38 and .45lc.
