The indoor range in Cerritos does the PPT paperwork in about 5 minutes. How come other stores take 45 minutes? Turners takes almost forever......

Because they are trying to punish and discourage you and/or have marginally retarded employees. Also Turners adds reams of extra unnecessary paperwork.

Bain and Davis and Alamo Jewelry & Loan are both staffed with good people; i buy from both. Alamo won my business by assisting me with an out of state transfer from a Gunbroker seller.

Thanks for a straight forward answer and not some dumbas* remark like some do.

So I assume then you leave the firearm with the place doing the PPT or does the seller keep it for the 10 day period?

Last time I did a PPT it was for a 44 mag pistol, guess what shop had a 44 marlin in the rack and i bought it. Point is shops need to know sometimes they can get a sale and only do one DROS.

Firearm is held in the FFL's safe for the ten day waiting period.
