Most Severe Recoil?

I've got a .50 cal rifle but that thing is sweet to shoot. More of a shove than a kick. A shotgun with slugs always rattles my teeth.

at the moment its my, well nothing i own... a 600 nitro express... by far the most felt recoil ive shot... wow.

ive got a new handgun in works that should take the cake though.

I will have to say my Browning A-Bolt Medallion in .338 win. mag. it kicks like a SOB.

I have the same gun, by far the most recoil in my safe.

For me it's a toss up between my Savage Model 99F (.308) and my Swiss K31. Neither are terrible but they are the worse that I own. The 99 is a great brush gun but .308 in a featherweight rifle is not a joy to say the least.

Inrifles, a tie between a CZ 550 in 416 Rigby and a Ruger #1 in 458 Win Mag. The Ruger #1 stock fits me better so although it pushes a bigger bullet I feel it less. In handgun it's a 12" bbl T/C Encore with heavy handloads.

for me it's my 870 w/ factory top folding LEO stock with slugs. that thin little pad doesn't do anything...

I have an old single shot 12Gauge, probably close to 100 years old, 18.5" barrel, kicks much harder than my other 12g shotguns.....
