Back then I bought several guns from the 'Green Sheet' called the Recycler (?) up in the San Fernando Valley. Later they banned gun advertising.

The Green Sheet became The Daily News in the early 1980's if I recall correctly. I think the recycler is only online now. Bought and still have several guns from those papers. The nice thing is that other than my wife and the seller, who I'm sure has lost any receipt by now, no one is aware of exactly what is in my safe.

Being an old fart has some advantages.
