Such a good movie. I really enjoyed it and that's saying a lot. I don't care much for what comes out these days.

I thought the story being simple was awesome. It was what it was, not trying to be anything more than a ridiculous action flick. It kind of reminded me of Drive in that regard; a throwback.

Just watched on video last night. Even if not everything is "realistic", the action sequences are fantastic. Like Mptexan said, the filiming is such that you're able to see the whole action. You don't have all the shaky cameras or extreme closeups that are in many current movies (like the Bourne and Taken series) that really hide the action (and hide the actors' limitations). This is how action movies should be like!

^^ great point. It does make a difference in the enjoyment factor.

The only think I didn't love was that it's obvious when they speed up the film during some of the fights. Ie: wick and Perkins in te hotel room. Etc...

watched it last night, I want a p30L.

I really dug the gunfu, it was very steven segal-ish but with a follow up head shot after flipping the bad guy onto the ground.

I hope we see more movies like this. maybe the raid 3

Loved the look of the P30L in that movie, and was tempted to get one but reviews say it isn't actually all that great. That was disappointing. I do like the Kel-Tec, but I'm not enough for a shotgun guy to pay close to 1k for one.

Only problem I saw is the guy can't fight AT ALL! He got his behind handed to him in every fight scene in the movie. Sure, he can shoot, but what is an assassin to do without his/her gun?

I agree with this only in the first 30 minutes or so of the movie. Seemed like he didn't want to fight back.

The fact he could hit and shoot everyone, every shot with out looking but can't hit the kid he was chasing the entire movie for an entire club scene/mag dump. .

I thought the same thing. I actually said "Oh come on..." out loud when that scene played out the way it did. Especially when right after the kid gets away, Wick NAILS a dude in the face as he's running and gunning up a flight of stairs.

But overall I thought it was a good flick. I'll watch it a few more times.

From a escapism point of view, I enjoyed watching it just for mindless entertainment.

I would think a bunch of professional hired guns, they would know better than to circle that one person at the end and shoot the said person. The crossfire potential...of four guys making a circle and shooting the person in the middle...well....
