Believe you can do intrafamilial transfers. And as for your experience, it's Turner's. No surprise there, take your money and spend it elsewhere. Riflegear, OC Armory, OC Firearms, EBR Works are some FFL's that come to mind.

This kind of "straw purchase" hate is really kind of dumb when you think about it.

My son is 12, all the guns I have I gave to him when he was 8, except for the Remington 512, that's for my second oldest daughter who was 14 when I gave it to her

When its all said and done, 99% of the long guns in Calif that don't come up stolen belong to the person in possession..
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
      Happiness is a warm gun.

A link to the original thread might have helped. I just noticed this thread, read the first post, and, well, in light of the foregoing, lost interest.

As I had mentioned in my response, comprehension is not his strong suit at all and only replies with fictional information, it's actually kind of funny.

There are a few attorneys who specialize in firearms law and there are several publications one can avail themselves to. Don't blame the clerk for refusing to give legal advice.
Hello, this was one of my points, yet he refuses to reply about this, hence his lack of comprehension. Maybe someone can show him how to use a "search engine", google, yahoo, or Bing, take your pick, haha.

Very nice. Hopefully good will come of this.

Be polite, calm and logical when you meet with them. Use words like insulted, intimidated, offended and relay to them your sisters and nieces feelings of fear, intimidation and a clear anti woman bias by preventing her from purchasing.

The use of the above buzzwords and phrases not only accurately describe how you felt but it inspires management in their training of employees.

                            Good on the manager

You should've left the original post up there and just added an update to it. I know what it was about, but others won't, and people should know what can happen in an LGS.

Posting etiquette would have been to edit in the update below the original. Ideally with a date stamp.

Basically, he bought a handgun at Turner's then brought his sister in a day or two later because he had had good service there and she wanted to purchase as well. Like any family would do, he offered her advice and tried to point her towards what he thought she would like. When he asked the clerk to bring up a gun that he had in the back, the manager and clerk thought that it looked like he was using her to make a straw purchase, got rude, and kicked him out.

I don't understand. Is he being forced out for being an ammo-grabbing fascist or for being a failure as an ammo-grabbing fascist?

His Original post. Glad to hear it worked out OP was the Manager that called Eliase or was it another that called you? Hopefully your future dealing with them will go smoother.
