Why is this still going? Joe is shady as hell. He did personally take responsibilit. He just passed the blame to his "gunsmith". Point is he took a job that he couldn't do in the first place and half assed it. To save face he publicly apologized but again he passed the blame. I know y'all have hard ons for him. But he is an ******* to the core.

I don't recall reading anything here about Joe monitoring that service transaction. Were you there when this was taking place, and if so was Joe there performing the transaction himself?

We appreciate the advice. I think to settle things between everyone on this thread, I propose the following:

1) We will pay for the OP to take his shotgun barrel to you for silver soldering
2) Please silver solder his barrel
3) Send the bill to us, or we can pre-pay you to do the work.
4) We can handle the shipping and return.

Is this agreeable to the internet?

Thanks for the offer, but I recently had the barrel silver soldered and refinished at Duncan's Gun Works. It cost me $85 (including soldering, bead blasting, and bluing) and was done in 3 days. If you would like to send money to my paypal, feel free!

Gun smithing isn't something you learn online. I got my experience and schooling in the corps not online.
