Ha ah, I just thought I would revive the debate.
It's been a while sense I've seen a FL thread.
I haven't used it sense it gummed up the wife's SR22 and wouldn't cycle at the range. I guess she should have brought her hair dryer with her.

it seems like the only people that have problems with frog lube are super high maintenance, "Oh my God, my $10,000 rifle feels slightly funny when I use it", kind of people. I've used it for a while on handguns, rifles and AR's and never had a problem. It gets wet when it gets hot and if it doesn't reapply more paste.

            Frog Lube

I think that boat has long left the dock by now.

Cherry Palmz is the goto Calguns Lube now ... is it not?

Actually; I still have tub of the Frog lube. It still works for me. It really does make cleaning the insides of the pistols much easier. Basically, you use the stuff like a wax.

I will bet that they didn't apply it correctly. The process of applying it the first couple of times is very important. I have many firearms and it works great. But I followed the directions and it makes a difference. I applied it in a normal fashion and it didn't work the same.

exactly. if you follow the (somewhat long) process frog lube works great on everything I've used it on.

Yes, as Echo and a couple of others had stated, you need to "pre-treat" the gun with Froglube first before hand. Just follow their directions at their official website.

It is somewhat of a pain that involves cleaning off all the factory and/or old gun oil off (Froglube does not like petroleum based oils), heating the components, and letting the parts absorb the Froglube after it is applied. However, you only need to do this once. Once your gun is treated with Froglube, you can use it normally and throw away all your other (petroleum based oil) gun cleaning products.

Bro, do you even crock pot?

It's a joke. Frog lube "treatment" is straight up pseudoscience.
