Went down from So.OC to Iron Sights in Oceanside for the 1st time, cuz they had some CZs to rent. I'm looking for SSE stuff that I might want
80 rds. through my 5" PPQ
80 rds. through a rental SP-01
50 rds. through a rental P-01
The CZs were pretty sweet and nice shooting guns. I shot the SP-01 better than the P-01, in general. The SP-01 was really accurate for me, once I got the sighting down. The heft of the full size SP-01 was not a problem...that was the main reason for the rental trip.
As sweet as the CZs were to shoot, every time I returned to my PPQ it brought a smile to my face and I couldn't stop shooting it....the CZs were softer recoil shooting, but the snap of the PPQ just had a fun, lively feel to it.
I'm going to rule out the P-01 just on results for that day...maybe not fair, but it is what it is. I'm never going to CCW anyway, so no reason to go compact.
Thought I'd start to nail down an SP-01 gun and pricing, but now I'm considering a M&P Pro CORE 5" in 9mm also. Not sure if I should try to keep in the striker-fired family for consistency (the CORE) OR go play with the DA/SA CZ for variety?? Help!

150+ rds .22lr through the Rem 511, 1st time out at the range with this baby, plinked the 100 yard bell a couple times, pretty happy with that.Comment

200 through the P320, maybe 50 total between a few Ruger .22s, a Glock 21, and a .40 Beretta PX4.

Around 75 rounds of .40 out of my new CZ75B and somewhere near 80 rounds out of my new to me SW1911 .45, I really like the .45, The CZ was cool too. Now I just need to get to reloading some more ammo for my next trip.sigpicComment
