    Effing Turners man!

Just drive 30 miles to the Turners in Chino and got denied a PPT. The dude insisted if my license wasn't my current address I needed to have EVERYTHING before we started. Which IMO is complete bullshizzle considering I bought guns from the Pasadena Turners and Cerritos Ammos Bros and those stores told me I just needed to have my papers to pick up the guns. Drove 60 miles for absolutely nothing. /rant over, your turn

THEY ARE CLOWNS!!!!! I won't even go in there to buy CLP for cryin' out loud! Overheard a clerk tell a customer wanting to do an interstate transfer that is would run them $125!!!! Unreal.

You should have called and asked about store/corporate policy on PPTs, and what identification is absolutely required. If your drivers license does NOT have your current physical address, then you must have some legal form that proves who you are, and where you live. Easiest, is to have a DMV license update printout.

FFL's are under LARGE microscopes in California, and dealers must be aware at all times of ANYTHING that MAY be sketchy in the deal.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

Egh... Blame the government. A store will not make it harder for you to spend money unless tgey were required too.

The only dealing i ever had with turners is getting my handgun safety card and they were quite friendly about that....I'm even thinking of buying some pistols from them next year..

Don't tell anybody but it's your fault.WHY haven't you changed your address on your license? Get it done before you run into more problems.

Because the DMV will NOT reissue you a new license for address changes out of cycle anymore.

I've changed my address 4 times and the DMV still has me on the same license with the wrong address they input (an address that does not exist.. error on their part).

                      Yeah, makes gun buying fun.

It's only my 3rd ppt and it was a deal on very short notice..... Plus I bought a pistol at Turner's before and all they needed/asked for was my ID......

You don't get a new license for change of address....so, I wonder how they handle this?

                          Per the CA DMV website:

How to notify DMV when I change my address
Law states that you must notify DMV within 10 days of changing your address. There is no charge to change your address, and you may notify DMV by any of the following ways:
Complete your change of address online.
Call any DMV office at 1 (800) 777-0133 and request that a change of address form be mailed to you. It will take 5 days for you to receive it. Complete the information required on the form, then mail it to the address listed at the top of the form.
Download the Change of Address form DMV 14, complete the information, and mail it to the address listed at the top of the form.
Visit any DMV office, complete a change of address form, and give it to a technician. The technician will give you a Change of Address Certificate card (DL 43) to complete and carry with your license.
If you do 2 or 3 above, type or write in ink your new address on a small piece of paper, sign and date it. Carry this piece of paper with your license. Do not tape or staple the change of address information to your driver license.

Because I'm college and in between apartments atm? The gun buying process of California is certainly not easy for young people......

This isn't valid according to Ammo Bros from my very first purchase and I suspect Turners as well. I have the official DMV record printout now I just didn't have time to go back home and get it since I was given notice to meet the seller at 3:30 when it was already around 2:20 and I had to drive 30 miles. (If the seller is reading this, not blaming you at all bro, Turners is just being stupid) Turner's very well could have just started the process and just required papers at pick up like my last two transactions..........
