I only got into buying firearms about two years ago so I don't have the experience and knowledge that many people on calguns have but I will ask this " is living in fear really living" ? And I ask this because many people say they don't put up stickers cause they don't like to advertise that they have guns. If that is their way of thinking how come they don't worry about being followed home after a day at the range or when they pick up their new firearm at the store. In my opinion and I know everyone one has one. A person that is interested in stealing firearms has a better chance of taking the firearms from their owner at the range or parking lot of where they bought them. How many people on here or for that matter any where have ever thrown away a big 50 something or 60 something inch screen TV box in their trash can and never once worried? OMG I better shred this box I don't want people to know I have a big screen I might be inviting someone to steal it. Just me opinion and I know some one will rip me for it but I guess to each their own. Different strokes for different folks

1. You don't pay attention to vehicles that might be following you after putting expensive items in your car? Often times people bring up the concept of situational awareness, something a lot of people lack... and end up with things happening like a phone being snatched out of their hands yet unable to give a description of the perp who had been standing next to them for 10 minutes. But somehow paying attention to your surroundings is a bad idea or simply being paranoid now?I only got into buying firearms about two years ago so I don't have the experience and knowledge that many people on calguns have but I will ask this " is living in fear really living" ? 2. Actually, yeah I do cut cardboard boxes to bits as it takes little effort or time with a razor sharp spyderco tenacious doing push cuts straight through the cardboard. Much better than advertising to anyone driving past.
3. I also don't post photographs with geotags online(which has been shown to lead to thefts).
If you want to advertise "EXPENSIVE STUFF HERE WITH NO ONE HOME DURING THE DAY", fine. I don't.Comment

My insurance company told me their studies show that cars with conservative stickers are 10 times more likely to be vandalized or broken into than cars with liberal stickers.
When my car was vandalized they asked me if I had any conservative stickers on it. I asked why and was then told about their research."Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man without a heart. Show me an old liberal and I'll show you a man without a brain." - Sir Winston Churchill

@merc 1138 but I drive my car to work lol I think anyone stocking my place of residence already knows that we are not home due to the fact there is any empty drive way .Also they probably already know I have a big screen due to the fact that you can see it from the side walk as we are watching it and they probably know we have nice things cause water our lawn and have rose bushes lolOld problems are like dry poop, if you let the dry poop sit it doesn't smell but the minute you decide to stir the poop with a stick, the smell comes back. Moral of the story, Don't bring up old problems!Comment

Guess a lot of people here don't drive nice cars or wear nice clothes for fear of being a target. I work shifts but everyone at my house know a how to shoot and usually there is more than one of us home. There is crime but I have called in and reported when I see it and my neighbors do the same. I refuse to live in fear and while I don't believe in blind tips I do believe in reporting crime.sigpic50BMGBOB aka 50BMGLAZARUS aka 50BMGZOMBIEBOB aka the UN- DEAD!Comment
