    conducting sticker experiment

A friend of mine gave me a couple of stickers about a year ago. One being an armed citizen sticker with a picture of an AR15 and the other a Calguns sticker. Now I have never been pulled over by the police even though I have a NRA sticker on the vehicle but I'm curious to see if now that I have put on these other two stickers will it attract more police attention . I know there has been other threads on stickers that say it will also attract criminals. I hope not . I would like to know how others feel on stickers is it a bad deal? or is it flaunt it and be proud?

Fly under the radar. Do not ever advertised that you own guns, it's an invitation to your house being broken into or having your vehicle vandalized.

I remember a member here posted that their truck window was bashed in because of the NRA sticker. The only sticker I have on my truck is a USMC one.

Worked with a dude at a gun shop who had all kinds of stickers all over his truck -everything from Remington to FoxPro and all kinds of gun/bow/outdoors stickers. He was literally a rolling billboard for a Bass Pro or something.

*Surprisingly* he got broken into and he was dumb enough to leave his bow and equipment in his truck -at least it wasn't firearms but still drop-dead stupid.

Generally I advise a low profile just so you don't get robbed. Any place you park the truck with your gun stickers on it, people will walk by and think about the possible guns you got in there. In terms of police encounters and traffic stops, it will definitely change a LEO's approach and hopefully you get a cool cops instead of "that guy" who thinks only the government should have guns.

I'm conflicted because I think the only way we'll have a 2nd Amendment in the future is if we share this passion and our rights with our kids and fellow Americans -but I don't think THIS is the way to do it.

I wouldn't care about the cops seeing stickers, I would care about the idiots in this state that would vandalize my vehicle because of stickers(and it happens), or making my home a target for burglary while I'm at work(giving criminals a few hours to work on a safe, or simply give up and ransack the place for everything else).

In many other parts of the US, I wouldn't care.

                      stickers

I do not put any kind of stickers or markings on my automobile.

Keeping it plain is fine by me.

I do not need ... nor do I care to have anyone come up or loudly comment on any of my political views.

Buncha sissies in here. There are a lot of gun owners we should show our numbers. Pretty sad people are too scared to do that.

Not to mention it is possibly an invitation to just generally screw with you...

There are much better ways to show your support as a 2a advocate that won't draw unwanted attention such as doing your part contacting our politicians voicing your opinions that could actually make a difference. Stickers on your vehicle aren't helping win any battles.
