One of my very liberal relatives posted this, and I would like to hear your responses. So I can post it back to her.

RIP the 2976 American people that lost there lives on 9/11 and RIP the 48,644 afghan and 1,690,903 Iraqi and 35,000 Pakistani people that paid the ultimate price for a crime they did not commit.

Why did the friend not mention the thousands of soldiers that died in the Middle East, bringing those responsible for 9/11 and other atrocities to justice?

The question I would ask is how did she arrive at the innocence of the people she mentioned? What information can she share to support those that have died did not support and harbor the one responsible for the 9-11 attack.

Then ask how does she feel about the service members that swore an oath and were sent there by the democratic senate of the United States. Paying in their blood and sweat to keep her free from attack.

Finally a sincere thank you for your opinions I always wondered what made up a true liberal and you have helped me understand who and what a liberal is.

That's pretty funny. IS would not have taken over a third of Iraq this year if the US had not invaded same ten years ago

Perhaps the OP's relative's point is that war is stupid, unpredictable, tragic and usually unnecessary. Especially unpredictable.

You guys are brutal. It was a simple RIP to the innocent casualties. How could anyone be against that? Our servicemen dont fit the criteria of bystanders/civilians. Terrorists are not included since they are douchebags that deserve to die.
