Ruger stock is currently at $50.80 and they are paying dividends that are 3.60 % .
No I don't own any, but it could be a smart move for younger folks to buy the stock through Charles Schwab and allow the dividends to create compound interest .
Founding father Ben Franklin loved compound interest .

"But, Franklin also had the future in mind. With precision, he calculated exactly how much the money should grow 100 years after his death and 100 years after that - a cool $20.3 million. He laid out ways these additional sums could be spent.

"He was," as one historian put it, "a great believer in compound interest."

Franklin's bequest was more than an act of generosity. It also offered a test for the two cities. Now, the 200th anniversary of Franklin's death - April 17, 1990 - is fast approaching. How wisely and how well have Philadelphia and Boston handled the Franklin legacy?

Begin with the money. Just as Franklin predicted, the 2,000 he bequeathed has grown to millions of dollars. But, Boston's fund has more than $4 million in it. Philadelphia's has $1.5 million.

As Franklin dictated, the money has been used for loans: In recent years, Philadelphia has granted about 95; Boston in excess of 1,400."...

Yeap, my experience with Ruger has been very positive as well. That is why I owe 6 firearms made by them.

I had to send in a .22 for an accuracy issue, they replaced the barrel and bolt assembly free of charge, I own 3 Rugers now.

A 6" GP100 would crater the sidewalk and trigger a 3.2 scale earthquake. The 9.5" Super Redhawk would probably knock the earth off it's axis.

Ruger has really turned it up since Bill Ruger passed away.

half of you here are weak and lame that will basically wind up being happy with .22 single shot pistols or single barrel shotguns..
