How much ammo do you take to the range

On a normal range trip? How much ammo do you take? how many rounds do you run through?

With prices being the way they are I usually only take 100 rounds. I was told prices will come down allot but when is the question?

Indoor - 300 each gun (9 and 40)
Outdoor- 400 for my ar, and about 200 for each 9 and 40

I've never shot everything. Most times it's usually half of what I bring

Mostly 50 rounds. 50 GOOD shots takes time. Blasting away, you'll shoot way more but if you are really trying to shoot 10s you'll be worn out after 50.

Copy that! 90-100 is about normal for me on rimfire. Heck, even with my AR, if I take the 24" HBAR target upper, I put in a single-shot loading block to work on accuracy and technique and I'm exhausted after 70-90 shots.

On average, I've been going weekly to an indoor range.

I bring 50 rounds with me and spend half the time dry-firing. I'm only 2.5 months in on this journey, so I'm still working on anticipated recoil.

I imagine this may change if I add another gun (or two or three) to the collection and start getting better results.

I always try and make sure I come home with unshot ammo. So I bring quite a bit.

Nothing is worse than a range trip where I'm left wanting.

I take two .30 cal. cans full of an assortment of the 4-5 calibers I shoot. There's a staple gun, cleaning rods, and some random stuff in there too.
Sometimes I shoot 50 rounds, other times 300+.
My range session stops when I start getting sleepy, or hot, or bored.
Ammo gets replenished as it is shot.
I never pack for any specific range session.
Range house monitor always laughs because I show up with so much, but I'm lazy and figure I can always grab a can or two and have what I need.
