It's right up the road from Templar Sports. Not inconceivable that they've explicitly blocked it during that whole ordeal.Dude, you don't know what you are talking about. This is not them making a conscious and deliberate decision to do that. Business rated firewall software automatically blocks weapons sites just like they block porn sites. So some IT guy installed a high-end firewall to protect both their customers and their company from viruses and malware. A side-effect of that which they probably never even considered or even knew about is that weapons related sites would also be blocked along with file sharing and porn sites.
Not everything is a conspiracy. Learn how things work in the world before trashing the good name of business. Your comments border on liable. You could be sued. You are making claims about their views which most likely are not true, based on something you didn't even both to ask the staff about, and encouraging others not to bring their business there. People have found themselves in court for less.
I strongly suggest changing the title and content of your post until you know more about how and why this happened before you end up getting yourself into a heaping mess of hot water.Comment

Doubt it. But even so, he should have asked the question before jumping to the conclusion that somebody is persecuting him and his beliefs. Especially if he planned to attempt to get others not to do business there by posting it online. For all I know somebody could have intentionally blocked Calguns and is anti-gun at that restaurant. But given how firewall software works, I seriously doubt it.
My dayjob uses this same type of firewall software. I had to manually add the sites I like to the exemption list so I could visit them. Otherwise anything gun related would have been blocked, including my own website www.Tacticalcity.com. Owner could careless what site I am visiting, he just wants his network to be virus free.Last edited by tacticalcity; 07-11-2014, 3:19 PM.Comment

Noted ! We will not be going into BJs until they open access to RKBA sites.
Hopefully enough gun owners will change attitudes about linking porn with guns .
If not it will accelerate until this is policy is at every public establishment .
I believe mc Donald's does not block access to CALGUNS , or didn't while my internet was down .Comment

have you guys tried their pizza? the bacon, chicken one is pretty dang good.
as far as being antigun, i doubt it. the network engineer probably didnt modify the built in filters for internet traffic so the site (calguns) got blocked by default as the "guns" in the domain would be an instant issue.Comment
