Really? The service is why I go. Hell, I've been comped lunches out of the blue.

Public K-12 school districts are required to have filtering in place to screen content that students have access to. It is a funding thing. You have filtering in place, or you don't get certain funding $$$.

Personally, I don't agree with much of what is blocked, but I just work here.

My point is that some of this content is now being blocked in the category of "Terrorism" and that doesn't sit well with me.

Say a student goes hunting with his family and drops his first buck. Photos and info are posted to some website. The student is at school and wants to show his friends what he did over summer break or whatever.

The student attempts to access the website and is flagged for attempting to access "Terrorist" content.

                This is a problem.

Maybe I'll start a thread in OT.

                    LOL!

OK, well check this out, from BJ's Investor's News Release Site (Rich Products Corporation was their supplier of the year in 2008) -

Rich Products Corporation is known around the world as a pioneer in the frozen food industry and a leading supplier and solutions provider to the foodservice, in-store bakery, and retail marketplaces. During its 20-year relationship with BJ's, Rich's has been a leading innovator in the development of several of the Company's signature products. The longevity of this supplier partnership is a testament to Rich's commitment to the flawless execution of the products they manufacture, as well as to their commitment to the BJ's brand through their generous support of the BJ's Restaurants Foundation.
Also, see Rich Products Corporation's own Rich's Consumer Brands Division Section

Should I post links to the recalls of Rich Products Corporation's products? Naw, you can google. Perhaps... It was in the server's interests at the time not to disclose their practices, or worse, that she has never been in the kitchen and has no idea wtf she's talking about? I don't care whether you go to BJ's or not- this is murica! Personally, I'd just go to Zachary's 100 times out of 100.

Guess I should boycott my employer then.. and probably 99% of all other major corporations that my job skills would translate too...

                      This thread is silly.

It's not BJs doing this out of spite. Its the firewall filters and BJs management likely has no idea what gets blocked and what doesn't.

That said, I stopped going when they removed the stuffed baked potatoes from the dinner menu and changed their stout recipe.

I like their Piranha Pale and Blonde. You should ask to speak with a manager next time your in there to get to the bottom of this, anti-guns BJ's fuss.

BJ's Field Day IPA 2012 was the best beer I have ever had, second only to maybe Russian River Pliny the Younger. My friends and I literally killed the keg. We just told the bartender to keep reloading us until the keg ran dry.

The 2013 batch was very average. I'm hoping they can recapture 2012 in the 2014 batch.

Ha ha, thanks! Now I have to clean the coffee off my computer screen!

You mean you want calguns members to think rationally about something they perceive to be a slight against the 2A.

You will be drawn and quartered by the keyboard commandos!

I really feel sad for some of these folks. Their world must be so lonely and bleak. Well, I guess if they want to associate themselves with only those that are pro-2A, that's their choice. But really very very sad.

Should try searching on BJ's over their wifi and see what comes up.

BJ's Parmesan crusted Chicken... Nom, Nom, Nom!
