    Trouble with Palmetto State Armory....

Does anyone know what's going on with this place? They sent me a defective vortex strikefire right out of the box and now for almost a week i can't get them to return my emails and the only two "customer service" numbers i can find give me an "all circuits are busy" automated response that immediately disconnects me, but somehow i can get through to their actual voice-mail when the office is closed, which conveniently tells me they are closed and I'm **** out of luck, try again later... Doesn't matter when i call, it's always the same issue. What can i do to get my return? I'm a step away from calling my bank and filing a fraud complaint.

Here comes TNP'R to make up excuses for them or to tell you to contact CS on ARFCOM. Or that you should have done your research.

But yes, Vortex will take care of you.

PSA has good deals, but their customer service lines are always overloaded.
I once had to cancel an order and took half an hour @ 6 in the morning to get through.
It's often a given you're risking to deal with their slow *** customer service to get their cheap deals.

Vortex sent a defective optic to PSA but yeah, they can be slow. I only had to call once and I had no trouble getting through at 0600.

did you try their vendor forum here at CG?
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I have no idea about the vendor forum. Didnt know one existed specifically for them. I thought psa was a smaller operation. Had no idea id run into something like this. I've purchased once before and didn't have an issue. I know the issue isn't them, it's vortex. But I'm not going to warranty a brand new item that was shipped to me defective. I've already gone with another option. Only takes one bad experience to lose faith in an items reliability. I'll never spend money on vortex again. I want a refund. Not an exchange

Took me less than a minute to figure what you need to do. Go to the red portion and read. Then go to PSA website, scroll to the bottom, look for Terms and Conditions, scroll to find what is in red and there is a link. And FYI, they've only been back to work after the holidays for two and a half days. At the prices they were selling stuff, they may not answer the phones for a week.

You may not like guns, and choose not to own one. That is your right. You might not believe in God. That is your choice. However, if someone breaks into your home, the first two things you're going to do are, 1) Call someone with a gun, 2) Pray they get there in time.

And you know its only Mrs. Perkins that handles all of their customer service calls. That poor old sweet lady must be moving faster then a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

And she's probably very lonely so she spends a lot of time talking to those who do get through to her on the phone.

PSA is infamous for their customer serive and logistics problems. It's kind of part of the compromise when you order from them. Really good prices the rest of the business leaves something to be desired.

As others have said, if it's a defective product and you can't get the retailer on the phone, call the manufacturer and see what they can do for you.

I'm Sorry, but PSA blows chunks when it come to correcting a problem.

E-mail is almost totally useless for these people.

They screwed up my order, said they would correct, and promptly blew me off, and on top of everything charged ME 5% to restock their mistake...

So yes I sympathize with you, and your frustration...
