I wish they never appropriated the word gay.
They denigrated a wonderful word.
The "my sexual pref. is NONE of anyone's business" bs goes without saying.
If it were solely about "the 2A Trumps everything" argument, you would not include..wait for it....Your sexual preference stapled to your group's name.
The homo agenda wants to infiltrate and tinge even the Pro-gun movement.
Haven't you done enough damage as it is?
If you're really only pro 2A, pro gun rights. Get off of your side saddle, get on with the program. Join the rest of us.
Don't ask pro-gunners to join/support a fringe group because you hide behind the banner of a faux pro-2A. Your agenda is a complete departure from it.
Read the 2A...nothing to do with sexual preference.
I think what you're not understanding is that popular culture is on the "gay" side.. So you twist their little world around and push the idea that gun owners are DIVERSE and OPEN MINDED, and suddenly the stereotypical image of a gun owner being an OFWG that throws the bible at everything disappears and you open up the floodgates for even MORE people that would be otherwise undecided or are leaning on the fence.
I don't care if you feel there is a homosexual agenda.. Whatever that agenda is, it isn't mine. I hate the mainstream LGBT community for the most part, so by all means don't lump me into that group of children. But people need to seriously get over themselves and start recognizing the inherit advantages some fringe groups actually have in the society we live in today, instead of pushing it away.Comment

dude, don't you know any better than to try and "get it on" with the feminine side of a person?I wish they never appropriated the word gay.

Sexual orientation demographics, are impossible to establish.
And to publicly form a group that claims to defend and uphold the 2A "above everything" based on sexual orientation does not help the cause one iota.
On the contrary, it gives way to division, disorder and perplexes the real supporters of the 2A who, frankly, do not care one way or the other who is attracted to what among their ranks in the first place. More times than not, the leftist, liberal politicians who are anti-gunners, also take an anti-family, pro-homo stance in their public views. This is fact. And of course, the understandable discernment and mix up from the pro-gun, and people on the fence as to what politician to vote for arises.
Of course, the homo lobby and it's supporters don't care what platform to use in order to get their point across: They'll vote for the pro-homo agenda politician. It's BS that they'll vote based on the "2A trumps everything" argument.
Case in point: they won't vote for Ted Cruz. Never in a million years.Comment

I side with Gottmituns. I fail to see the advantage of a homosexual group declaring themselves to be defenders of the Second Amendment. The apparent purpose, in my opinion, is just another homosexual attention gathering tactic. Again, in my opinion, if they want to strengthen the Second Amendment, they can join one of the many organizations that are already in existence.sigpicComment

I highlighted the key part in your statement.I think what you're not understanding is that popular culture is on the "gay" side..

I concur with everything. Except that part.
That particular fringe group will veer many pro-gunners, unknowingly, away from the cause. And other rights and freedoms will be thrown under the bus because of compromise.
The gay agenda as a whole is pro-death (pro-abortion), anti-family (pro-homo "marriage"), has a "live and let live" detrimental mentality. Moral decadence at large. Religion and values get replaced by "altruism". It is unquestionably perilous for our society. In fact, the gay agenda in California is one of the many sick fruits of the liberal leftist modus operandi of the state.
John and Stephen are kissing in the park in front of my children, but hey! They have a concealed weapons permit! "yay!"
At what cost will our acceptance and compromise be?
So you like men. Keep it to yourself. So you like women, keep it to yourself.
You like the 2A. Let's do something about it publicly. But not by publicly declaring our sexual attraction. That has nothing to do with the cause.
Again, it's an agenda. And it is going to finish Cali's downfall for the worse.
Not just related to guns mind you.Last edited by Gottmituns; 06-08-2014, 11:31 PM.Comment

I welcome them with open arms. It's all about the numbers man. Maybe some day we can all show up in great numbers on the capital steps in Sacremento. Gays for guns, tree huggers for guns, granny's for guns, Christians for guns, etc...Last edited by Hayduke Lives; 06-09-2014, 4:05 PM.Comment

How about just Pro-Gun Americans?
Too difficult? Too judgmental? Too non-inclusive?Comment

What happens when the homosexual organization siphons money away from other groups advocating to strengthen the Second Amendment, and in the end the organization gives your contributions to a candidate that is homosexual, liberal and a slightly pro gun, and never votes to strengthen the Second Amendment.sigpicComment

amen.Stranger than that would be sitting around doing nothing or complaining or focusing on what I don't like... (which ALWAYS magnifys when I do..) while watching our rights ripped away --when our group --QUEER as we are -- and as weird as the whole thing may seem to YOU -- when we could be having REAL impact on public's misconceptions of gun owners. THAT is the fight I'm fighting. Like it or not we are shoulder to shoulder in those altruistic attempts at keeping the 2A / Constitution intact.Comment

Exactly. What happens when the homosexual organization siphons money away from other groups advocating to strengthen the Second Amendment, and in the end the organization gives your contributions to a candidate that is homosexual, liberal and a slightly pro gun, and never votes to strengthen the Second Amendment.Comment

This is a war for our rights and the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" and war often brings together allies who make strange bedfellows, no pun intended.
Open your minds and be inclusive. This is a group that breaks the antis' stereotype of who and what we are."Hence it happened that all the armed prophets conquered, all the unarmed perished." - Niccolo MachiavelliComment

Seriously? What happens when the homosexual organization siphons money away from other groups advocating to strengthen the Second Amendment, and in the end the organization gives your contributions to a candidate that is homosexual, liberal and a slightly pro gun, and never votes to strengthen the Second Amendment.
Well maybe if the 90% of gun owners (overwhelmingly heterosexual I would hazard) who don't belong to the NRA, joined, donated money to the NRA, CGF and etc., got off their butts and made phone calls and sent letters and emails that wouldn't be much of a concern. Including a huge chunk of the population right here on Calguns who don't do squat but squawk.
If every gun owner, heck, every Calgunner, was as involved as this guy we wouldn't even be having this discussion.
he's a better Calgunner than most."Hence it happened that all the armed prophets conquered, all the unarmed perished." - Niccolo MachiavelliComment

Ah yes, Yes. The WHAT IF. WHAT IF. WHAT IF.. game. LOL Try this one on for size.. HOW ABOUT WHAT IF a Gay 2A Candidate wins and proves your skeptical self WRONG.
THOSE PESKY 'WHAT IFS'... doncha just hate it when your head tells you scary stories? Maybe try instead of living in fear (the future) you try to reel yourself back into the moment. Or not. Whateva suits ya Bro.
God be with you.
PEACE. OUT.
PSTo show you one small item on the list of how much you DON'T KNOW -- I would probably vote for Cruz. I don't like him but if, out of all the candidates, he's the most Constitutionally based candidate then he's got my vote. Furthermore. Even IF (in the realm of near zero possibility) a Democrat was believably (by track record etc.) more Constitutionally based then I would vote for him.
CLUE: Both parties suck Moose p-o-o-p. Both parties have long stopped being by the people / for the people. They're only for FOR THEMSELVES / for the corporations / by the corporations. "The People" are just a major annoyance they often have to contend with. However it's usually the Libertarians that get it right.. with the Republicans be way waaaay back eating the Libertarians dust LOL.

By your name, I can infer that you have two causes to advocate, the homosexual lifestyle and firearms. I cannot determine which cause is more important to you. You are a new organization, that has no record, so I will remain skeptical, and will donate my money to the NRA so I know my donated funds are actually used towards protecting firearm rights.Ah yes, Yes. I am curious, you ended your post by calling on God, so why would you advocate a behavior that is an abomination to Him?Last edited by RandyD; 06-09-2014, 6:34 AM.sigpicComment
