UPDATE: JUST GOT WORD IN that the owner of www.GUNS.com will be flying in for the event to help author / videographer BEN PHILIPPI and that's before I even did the press release. This thing has the potential to really raise public awareness NATIONWIDE and help fill the ranks and stall the notion that guns owners are all OFWG. A $400. cost (ouch) could take the Press Release nationwide, instead of just local.
Thanks to all the support and encouragement from CalGuns.net Gays With Guns has just started a Crowd Sourcing / Fund Raising campaign in order to take Gays With Guns to the next level, becoming an LLC.
UPDATE: Having gotten a couple of nice messages from a CPA on Calguns about the legalities attached to going with 501c3 (can’t be political) or even an LLC -- I decided to postpone this campaign until I can afford lawyers and CPA to make sure everything is on the up and up. I am issuing a refund of the donation received thus far to make things right. If there's anyone who can help with the fine point legalities and cares to donate some of their time to help -- We're all ears, Thanks!

We also have Press Release going out soon for a FUN LAX Range event coming up June 19th featuring Ben Philippi and a host of some of LA's Finest Drag Queens.

Gays with Guns, www.gayswithguns.net, a newly formed Political Action Group (PAG), is coming out straight into a Constitutional controversy! This event is certain to irritate both sides of the political spectrum: the Liberal side for taking a pro-gun, pro 2nd amendment stance, and; certain to irritate some Conservatives as well, simply because we are Gay.
This event is primarily a photo shoot with interviews. Author, Videographer, Photographer Ben Philippi (“God, Guts and Guns”) will be on hand conducting video interviews and taking photographs for his upcoming book: “We the People.” Philippi guarantees an insightful book highlighting a spectrum of people who wouldn't normally be considered 2nd Amendment supporters.
Some of LA’s finest Drag Queens will be converging on the LAX Range along with members of GWG, Pink Pistols, and supporters with the goal that America should rethink accepted stereotypes. Watch the feathers fly! Media outlets and journalists alike are encouraged to attend.
