Just shot the one I built off a wilson combat barrel. Very fun. Worth it.

It is a pretty expensive ammo, close in price to 308 prices. You can get reloads from Freedom Munitions at around $0.68 a round.

I waiting for my Wilson Combat barrel to finish my build. Ere are a lot of appealing characteristics I'm looking forward to trying. Now to load some test ammo

Seems like a great round for close range sub sonic supressed shooting. In that regard, I'm actually really impressed with it so far. Beyond that, it's a waste of 30 caliber projectiles that could be loaded as .308

Many folks have shot these to 700+ yards.

I'm fairly certain that with a basic calculator, a lot of time, and accurate weather data, I could lob a 50bmg over a small mountain and hit a target 2.5 miles away on the other side.

Does this somehow negate the fact that many people shoot this round at distance unsupressed?
