Ever have regrets on passing on a purchase?

Many years ago I passed on a Winchester 62 for a 100 bucks. I really wanted that rifle.
This weekend I passed on CZ 97B. They are so hard to find I hope I don't regret passing on the purchase.

I bought some $20 Mausers years ago. I wish I bought more.

I also regret not buying every $200 AK I used to pass up at the gun shows. Also years ago.

Yes, late last year I hesitated on buying a nice well priced 1903 Springfield, for 15-20 minutes. Decided to buy it and it was gone!

Two big ones, a near-pristine 1903A3 and a VG Eddystone manufactured M1917. Passed on both at the same gun store on different occasions because I was saving up for gun shows.

I didn't have the money at the time, but I remember seeing a HK SP-89 for $1100 in the glass counter at Discount Gun Mart in '93. They started going up in price soon after that.

I wish I would have at least picked up a AK receiver if not a complete gun before the end of last year.

I forgot another one that I regret. When I was about 30 yrs old I bought a Colt Government Series 70 for $350 and passed on the Colt Gold Cup National Match for $450. The extra $100 was too much for me at the time.

Years ago a friend of mine had his FFL and I could of got a S&W 686 5" unfluted cylinder for $340.00.

Having lurked here for a while before I joined and got more engaged, I saw a similar thread and read about so many coulda shoulda woulda deals that now If I see something even remotely interesting, I try to get it. May have to sell something else but with the way things seem to be going for this state's laws and the so called "roster" it seems like you just can't lose money with some time. Long guns a little less so.

Back in the 80s, I had to choose between the new SIG 550 .223 or the Belguim FAL in .308 (didn't have the money to buy both at the time)---went for the FAL, but always regret not buying the 550.
A great pistol I wanted real bad was the 9mm Walther P5C (already had a P5)---they were not that expensive then, but again I didn't have the spare change---very expensive now…
Last but not least, a Ruger SP101 stainless revolver in 9mm---had the money, but sold the first one to my shooting buddy---I was going to buy the next one to come into the shop---never got another one…
Those were my regrets---oh well...

A couple of years ago I passed on a $600 CIA m16A1 clone, at first I dismissed it as " CIA is junk" but more recently I've discovered it was made with all colt parts except for the lower.
