Gun Show Ripoff

I don't necessarily go with the intention of 'finding deals.' I go a lot of the times just to look around and see a lot of cool things, but this time it was just so bland and lackluster without much to see.

That's kind of where the rip off comes from. Either way that's probably going to be the last gun show I attend. I was considering going to the bigger one at Cal Expo but they raised price of admission and I don't expect their show to be any different.

I went to the cal expo gun show last Month and.. like the posts here, i was very dissapointed. There really wasn't anything cool to look at. Hardly any guns and alot of surplus stuff. It was more like a flea market than a gun show. A huge waste of money; admission, parking. Live and learn.

Well it doesn't sound like the Crossroads shows have changed much over the years. The Crossroads folks know that this source of income will be legislated out so they are boning the gun folks for all that they can while they can.

cabelas has sales all the time 2100 rounds for $100 in an ammo can/ $32 for a brick of 500 2 days ago.

Seriously? I have never seen that on Gunbot.

$80 a brick...I'd sell all I have at that price lol.....I remember back in the day $12 a brick at walmart. I usually go to a gun show and just look around unless I find a really good deal on something then i bite.

Personally, my time and money would be spent better at the range.
