    Gun Show Ripoff

Incase anyone wanted to go to the gun show in Sacramento (MccLellan Airforce Base) this weekend, DON'T that's the worst excuse of a gun show I have ever seen. In all there was probably 50> guns and all were obviously still in the early 2013 prices.

Bricks of 22 lr were going for 70-80 bucks! It was even worse that there was a huge line to get them. Save yourself the money and just don't go please!

Not to mention the amount of rude people that were there.

I haven't bought anything other than powder, primers and jerky at a show in years.

Only good deals at the Sac gun shows are ammo cans, jerky, and dolls. Maybe not on the jerky and ammo cans anymore since I haven't been to one in years.

Rip off...really? Sorry you didn't score, but words have meaning, OP.

Going somewhere to hopefully participate in legal commerce, and not finding what you like at the price you want to pay, is not the definition of a "rip off".

If you don't think that 500 rounds of 22 lr for 80 bucks isn't a rip off, then I wonder what your definition of rip off is.

I bought the exact same box of ammo yesterday for 32 dollars from Cabelas shipped.

There were more books, VHS tapes and other useless accessories than there were guns. Seems like a rip off to me, considering it costs 10 bucks to enter or 9 with the discount

I haven't even thought about a gun show since the 80's. Parking, gas, entry...no thanks!
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

Maybe all the vendors went to the Murphys show in Yuma AZ.

Being disappointed does not equate to being ripped off. It sucks, but it's not a rip off.

It's not a rip off if you don't buy. The world doesn't owe you deals at the click of a mouse or push of a button, although it is nice these days to be able to do so.

Complaining about the cost to get in, then complaining about the prices, is like paying to get into a club on Saturday night, and then getting angry at the bar owner that the place is not filled with hawt hunnies.

Please save "rip off" for things like getting a $35 parking ticket, then finding it costs $210 at the service window of the courthouse to pay it off.
