I use both Frog Lube and Ballistol.
Frog Lube for cleaning smaller parts like receiver and trigger assembly on my shotguns. I like it a lot except for its cost. So if you're cleaning a lot of firearms or the bore of a shotgun, it will cost a lot in the long run.
Ballistol is non-toxic but the smell will make you think otherwise, it smells like moldy old socks worn by someone with smelly feet. It is cheaper than Frog Lube so I've used it as a solvent to flush the barrel of my shotguns. I've since switched to using WD40 as a solvent because it is a lot cheaper and I can get it basically everywhere and finish the final cleaning with Frog Lube, works well for me.
What are you cleaning?
