Ban camo? For Christ's sake I can still see you! lol. On a serious note I would require covering them speedos with pants or shorts. -

Why is it any of your business what other people wear? Does having a lot of button make it hard to rape them?Last edited by njineermike; 02-01-2014, 10:10 AM.Peace, love, and heavy weapons. If I was responsible for the range I would also add no open-toed footwear allowed.[CENTER]CALIFORNIA: Love it, leave it /CENTER]

High necked shirts, pants, closed toe shoes all from a purely safety aspect. Hot brass dance is quickly reciprocated by the jump out of the way of the muzzle limbo. Safety glasses and hearing protection as always. I saw a disabled person don a custom made shawl thingy once at a range as her lap area was a frequent landing zone for her or others hot brass. I thought it was a marvelous idea, and she was a helluva shot to boot!I know what this man needs.............bring me the vodkaComment

Haha this made me laugh but so true.
I think hearing should be the only REQUIREMENT. Eyes is on you. Same as getting shot a serious eye injury is about as possible as being shot. Unless your indoors and those stupid dividers plop a case back at you.
But there are already enough rules, and as for gang attire that reminds me of school now allowing us to wear ANY sports team jerseys to school. Not even T shirts because it was "Gang Attire" Gangs don't have attire. I'm sorry they wear clothes of all shapes and sizes. Welcome to fashion or lack there of.
But your list is a good idea for range attire but not suited or reasonable for ALL.Comment

I'd say suit and tie sounds about right. Maybe a tux on special occasions. Oh wait this is the shooting range. Jeans and a shirt sound about right.Comment

None. Though I would probably be sued for someone poking their eye out.
Actually I would require a top, bottoms, and "shoes".Comment

I go with Dress Mess and full size medals, no miniatures. I like to hear the clanking of the medals from the recoil when shooting.Comment

They should ban camo in the city. if you are wearing in the city, it just screams...look at me!!!
on a serious note. its not ones business but your own...but this is a forum and he is trying to ask a question that's probably been on his mind.

I was next to someone on the line once that was shooting a 1911. During a rapid-fire drill, they were able to get hot brass between their feet and their sandals/thongs on both feet at the same time.High necked shirts, pants, closed toe shoes all from a purely safety aspect. Hot brass dance is quickly reciprocated by the jump out of the way of the muzzle limbo. Safety glasses and hearing protection as always. The ensuing dance/screams were entertaining. The dropped 1911 onto a concrete floor was not. I would definitely require closed-toed shoes.[CENTER]CALIFORNIA: Love it, leave it /CENTER]
