de Leon and Steinberg succeeded ...

... I caved and got a lifetime NRA membership.

I was going to wait until I had some disposable income and get it at $300 or $500. I let my annual membership lapse in fact. But after seeing their latest proposals, I signed up for the quarterly plan. Takes 10 years at that rate, but I can afford that.

If you become a life member, do you still get the cool NRA mug and knife? I just sent in my 2-year membership check, but I think I want to go the lifetime route instead. Ahhhh, what would I do??

Go to the NRA website http://membership.nrahq.org/contact-us.asp there you can call or email member support. Give them your member ID# and tell them you want the check you just sent in to go towards a life membership.

I was on the quarterly plan initially. Then they offered me a range bag to go monthly. Then I got some more swag when I finally just paid the thing off.
