I respectfully disagree never, repeat never invite police into your life. If there's been a break in, or a battery, and a report or investigation needs to be done, have at it, but don't use cops to settle scores like this.

Nobody has ever pushed into me to try to start a fight. I am not huge, I am not an MMA fighter, but people do not do that to me, ever. If an on duty employee of this a hole tried that with me, we'd see exactly how, ready this guy was to carry through. And then I'm suing the place.

Wow. Usually Duncan's is pretty good with customer service. I've never had an issue with them. Sorry to hear OP.

Oh hell no! People like him need to get out of customer service and out of firearms sales. I have been toldd a thing or two about certain aspects of guns but I have never taken it outside to taunt someone into fighting me over something as silly as being told I did something wrong.

Yes, yes they should. If you are such an a-hole that you let a customer get under your skin to the point that you follow them outside and then confront them then you deserve to suffer the consequences.

Maybe dude was the manger ...

Yeah, let bad attitude and criminals slide ... what could go wrong?

And when you find out your action was actually damaged ...

Keep the cops out of it if at all possible
Laugh at him. Say I hope you have a nice day. And leave.
When all is cooled down, say the next day or so, return to the store go to the cash register as state that you would like to see the manager
When speaking to the manager be polite and curtious speak to him away from the crowd and let him know of the situation.
And when you're done ask what the manager will do.
If you're not satisfied ask to speak to the owner.
                  You will get results.

OP has been here for a year, made 12 post and his only posts before today was to sell a pistol. I wouldn't make any decisions either way without more confirmed information.

Because his gun had been delivered to that shop...

But to the OP, hindsight is 20/20, but you should not have left the shop without talking to the manager about the employee's behavior. Stuff like that should be dealt with calmly, but immediately.

Doubt I'll get an apology anytime soon, but yes I'll make sure management is well aware of the situation. This forum has a huge impact.

maybe the OP should have said something before he left the store, I don't know, I wasn't there. But I would not expect anybody to go back in after being confronted outside the store by the employee. that would be like going back into the lion's den and just asking for the situation to escalate further.
