I don't get it, are you supposed to be funny?
You're not funny like a clown in that you amuse me...
You're more sad than funny... Your existence and the existence of others like you is a sad indictment in regards to how far this nation has fallen that we have KGB and Stasi like you running around all across the nation thinking you're doing great deeds by throwing your weight around and harassing decent citizens...
Then you have the nerve to come onto a forum which is supposed to be maintained for the benefit of decent citizens who own and enjoy guns and tell people who were caught up in a minor violation of one of the TEN MILLION laws in this nation "don't do the crime if you can't do the time" as though you know every single law in this nation and have never violated one be it knowingly or unknowingly.
KGB goons like you demoralize true patriots with your thinly veiled hatred for freedom and natural rights.Comment

Interesting comments. I feel that the average citizen is facing more of a threat from local law enforcement that they would be from the military, with the exception you have provided. If I had my way, LE would only be able to use and own what the average citizen could use and own.
There used to be a time when the only difference between LE and the average citizen was the badge. They had the same access to weapons, vehicles, etc. as everyone else. Today they are a class all their own.
Except in a time of severe crisis, Americans would not tolerate seeing armed soldiers patrolling our streets. I don't see much difference between an Army infantryman and a police officer any more.Comment

I don't really have a problem with anyone owning full auto weapons. Full auto really doesn't do much for you unless you are unskilled and "spray and pray". Even with my M-16 on full auto I was much better off firing short bursts than sustained auto fire.Comment

Exactly, just what he said about there being no discernible difference between the police and the army...
If these guys didn't have patches that identified them as police, you'd probably mistake them for soldiers-

Limit average law abiding citizens to 10 rounds or less per mag.. this gives LE an advantage
Limit the availability of FA guns.. gives LE an advantage
Ban certain types of ammo... gives LE an advantage
Let's say I have this cake. It is a very nice cake, with "GUN RIGHTS" written across the top in lovely floral icing. I received it from the 2nd amendment and the Dick act of 1902.
...
Along you come and say, "Give me that cake." I say, "No, it's my cake." You say, "Let's compromise. Give me half." I respond by asking what I get out of this compromise, and you reply that I get to keep half of my cake.
Okay, we compromise. Let us call this compromise The National Firearms Act of 1934.
There I am with my half of the cake, and you walk back up and say, "Give me that cake."
I say, "No, it's my cake."
You say, "Let's compromise." What do I get out of this compromise? Why, I get to keep half of what's left of the cake I already own.
So, we have your compromise -- let us call this one the Gun Control Act of 1968 -- and I'm left holding what is now just a quarter of my cake.
And I'm sitting in the corner with my quarter piece of cake, and here you come again. You want my cake. Again.
You say, "Let's compromise once more." What do I get out of this compromise? I get to keep one eighth of what's left of the cake I already own?
So, we have your compromise -- let us call this one the Machine gun ban of 1986 -- and I'm left holding what is now just an eighth of my cake.
I sit back in the corner with just my eighth of cake that I once owned outright and completely, I glance up and here you come once more.
You say nothing and just grab my cake; This time you take several bites -- we'll call this compromise the Clinton Executive Orders -- and I'm left with about a tenth of what has always been MY DAMN CAKE and you've got nine-tenths of it.
Then we compromised with the Lautenberg Act (nibble, nibble), the HUD/Smith and Wesson agreement (nibble, nibble), the Brady Law (NOM NOM NOM), the School Safety and Law Enforcement Improvement Act (sweet tap-dancing Freyja, my finger!)
I'm left holding crumbs of what was once a large and satisfying cake, and you're standing there with most of MY CAKE, making anime eyes and whining about being "reasonable", and wondering "why we won't compromise".NRA Member

I'd rather have laws similar to what Texas has, where you can use force to defend property...
That way when somebody screams, "GIVE ME THAT CAKE!" I can address their attempt at robbery/theft of my cake.

No patriot will ever be elected President at this point.
The most we can hope for is that our degenerated Republic will be taken over by a man with the character of Julius Caesar who has a genuine love for the people of the nation and will work for their best interests while also advancing his own power.
There's a reason Obama is purging the military.
We could use a Pinochet, somebody who cleans house and restores the rule of law, preparing the nation for free elections and then stepping down.
We're not going to get a Pinochet or a Julius Caesar.
A nation of degenerates winds up with a degenerate sick Constitution hating president such as Obama.
America is a nation in deep spiritual crisis... All attempts to fix the problems politically are failing because they fail to address the root cause. Political problems are merely symptoms, outward obvious manifestations of a deeper underlying spiritual illness.Comment
