I would do it. Gun for rifle always a Good trade. I never liked revolvers anyways. Think about it this way. Would you trade a 65 mustang for a 2013 mustang. One has classic looks. The other technology and cool features to add.

Would I trade a classic, universally recognized, highly sought after, coiner of the term pony car, big part of the muscle car movement for a chick car? No.

To the OP:

The Tavor looks cool, and I like the concept of bullpups. However, the civilian version makes no sense to me. If I were going on a strike mission and could only pick one or the other, I would pick the military Tavor in a heartbeat. As a collector, the civilian Tavor is likely less fun to shoot than an AR platform gun. The Python will likely increase in value. So I would keep the Colt.

No way, that thing is beautiful! I wouldn't give it up for anything. The Tavor looks like a plastic space gun and I just don't see the draw to it.
