Although it is valid in the sense of if you want one in California, you had better pickup a Tavor by the end of the year. I just think the Tavor is a horrible investment while the Colt is a great one. But I would never sell the Colt just to buy a plastic bullpup.

I'm not a semi auto pistol guy, but IMO you would be a fool to sell that python.

You will turn in to so many gun owners, pining about the gun they used to own but sold for whatever reason....

I'd definitely keep the Python. It's an investment like several people have already said. TactiKool stuff comes and goes in phases. What is cool today probably won't be cool next year...

That being said, it's YOUR gun, do what YOU want to. If that happens to be selling the Python, sell it to me... I promise to not laugh when you want to buy it back later

i have more memories of guns i've sold than for ones i've never owned. the regret of not buying one you wanted and no longer can have may be accompanied with a sting, but the remorse and straight-up sorrow for parting with one you wish you still had bites a little deeper.

I would do it. Gun for rifle always a Good trade. I never liked revolvers anyways. Think about it this way. Would you trade a 65 mustang for a 2013 mustang. One has classic looks. The other technology and cool features to add.

A guy/dealer was asking $3,100 for a brand new in box 4" blue Python this past weekend at a gun show. He also had a 4" stainless and 6" stainless Anacondas for $3,500 each. Also new in box. I don't know if he sold any.

I'd hang on to the Python. Kick myself for selling one years ago.

It all depends on what you want, and you are really the only one who can make that call.

- Do you like the classics or do you prefer something more modern?
- Do you want something to regularly shoot or something you can cradle and pet and gently put back in the safe?
- Do you want one of them as an investment?

When I'm making decisions like this, it usually comes down to how often I use X compared to how much I think I will use Y.
