Yes, if you wanted one. Because on Jan. 1st 2014 you'll still be able to buy a Python, but you probably won't be able to buy a Tavor.

Are you a man or a kid? Save the money and buy the tavor. If you cant save enough in the time you allow your self to save then you can't afford the tavor and you should maybe look into an AR

What do you mean by "If you cant save enough in the time you allow your self to save"?
Thanks for the money saving advise, but my question was more of like: If you were to choose between the two, which one would you rather have? Without considering whatever is one's collection.Last edited by SupraMiggs; 10-09-2013, 1:25 AM.Comment

Hmm...Classic Colt Revolver that will never be made again and has appreciated way above inflation rates versus plastic Tacticool rifle of the moment bullpup that will be worth less and less as it is used and IWI's pipeline fills the retail channel with more and more inventory?
Tough question.
Although it is valid in the sense of if you want one in California, you had better pickup a Tavor by the end of the year. I just think the Tavor is a horrible investment while the Colt is a great one. But I would never sell the Colt just to buy a plastic bullpup.NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor, Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer

That would be the wrong move. The Tavor is nothing special. What you have there is. Period.Comment
