    Some may have some kind of restocking fee, but I don't think they can keep it all. Why'd you fail?

                  Buddy of mine bought one in Apple Valley Surplus Store (MP 15) and the dealer was telling him how so many people don't realize that they are going fail there background check, and he told him they don't get their money back.

                    Read the contract. It should say somewhere, usually in plain sight, that the LGS will charge a certain % for restocking or failed backgrounds. Its usually the deposit you are required to put down, %10-%20

                      Most stores charge a restocking fee.I feel this is fair since they did the paperwork and couldn't sell the gun during the time period it took to fail.

                      DROS is never refunded.California doesn't like to give money back.
