In that same vein, it's absurd that you have to complete a new DROS (and pay the exorbitant fee) for every single purchase, even if on the same day from different FFL's or the next day from the same FFL.
With modern database technology, the results should be instantaneous and should cost less than $5. (We already know they are significantly overcharging because they've accumulated millions of excess dollars in their coffers.)Justice Alex Kozinski, 9th US Circuit Crt of AppealsComment

People who buy their first gun, a high $$ AR during the panic, then never take me up on the offer to learn how to shoot it, clean it, sight it in, clear malfunctions etc. The weapon sits in a closet cold and alone, the owner apparently just satisfied that he has it.Last edited by SDgarrick; 09-16-2013, 5:28 PM.Comment

- People that post a wall of text/photos.
- People that quote said wall of text/photos.
- People at the range who display no knowledge of safe gun handling.
- Range/store employees who rent/sell firearms to people with no knowledge of safe gun handling.
- People at indoor ranges who don't sweep up their brass and have like 100 rounds on the floor.
- People that say "convince me why I should get X firearm." Why the hell should I convice you? If you want it, get it, no skin off my back!
- When people ask for a recommendation between X and Y, but someone says they should get Z. That wasn't the question, stop forcing your purchases on others.
- People that drive vehicles that are way too big for them and can't properly handle them. You know, making a simple 3 point turn into a 10 point turn.
- People that suddenly pull into traffic that is flowing at 45-50mph only to go 35mph tops.
Sorry, the last 2 are from what happened on the way home, I had to get it out______________________________Comment

Armchair quarterbacks.
Those that are full of advise and will even shout down others. Yet they have no real expierence about the topic. Some may have a small amount but not successful such as hunting. Or those so new to the subject they have very limited knowledge such as reloading/scopes/other optics/rifle brands/cartridges(it is not calibers) and such.
Just because you read it somewhere(especially on the internet) or saw it on you-tube does not mean it is a good idea or choice.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

I hate when people tell me this - All you have to do is file the firing pin down and your AR becomes fully automatic.Comment
