Rich guys at a range that say their new rifle is a pile of crap and I look and it's a nice gun like a Cooper or Kimber. Then when I watch them shoot they just have horrible technique or bad rests or something that is their fault and not the gun.

While that was a really terrible way of writing it out...

Think along the lines of someone who buys a $150 scope that's ok, but when someone asks about a scope for 1000 yards, they decide to recommend their $150 scope again. Or someone looking for sights to stick on a service rifle for a match, and someone recommends a leapers/ncstar/etc. carry handle.

You have to read his entire post, not just the first sentence.

That Guy: "I didn't point my muzzle at you."

I actually stopped buying firearms stopped shooting and even starting selling off my collection the relentless price of ammo/guns and always worrying about new laws is really taking the fun out of the sport I donate to the NRA and the CRPA in hopes one day I can enjoy it all over again the way I once did. Guys who are not military/swat who have a full gear setup with $2000 cqb setup AR and including plate carrier with morale patches and shemagh staged in Ft. Living room as if the Commanding General of JSOC is gonna call them in the middle of the night some day saying:

"We got a top secret mission in Afghanistan at zero dark thirty tomorrow and since you have that awesome rig, you're the man for the job!"
