That's again true edge, if anyone is heading out to either Costa Mesa gun show or raahauges sports fair we will have tables at both locations come by and check out some quality laser cut steel

We have been shooting steel for several years and love it. These are pictures of our long and short ranges that we just finished last month on the property we bought back in November.

Good stuff. Ts-lgr. Hit the mount with a 6.5. The armor corner took the hit no damage. Nice stand. Very stable.

When I first started action shooting back home, all the clubs shot on steel targets about the size of an IPSC target. A hit anywhere on the target counts, so there was some FASSSST shooting in those matches.

I actually never shot on paper until I moved out here and started up with USPSA. It sucks in comparison.

I lived next to an Army base, so the range "gongs" were usually hatches from some tank or APC target vehicle that someone had "appropriated". They are extremely durable, even against .50 BMG.

I bought 3 steel targets from SoCalTagetworks with custom canted brackets for some up close rife shooting 25 yards and have put combined with me and friends about 10k rounds on them and they are holding up well.

I also have some action target steel in 550 I love shooting steel targets damn Hickok45 made me do it.

There is nothing like that ping ping ping, that feed back is so rewarding. Just becareful what you shoot it with.

Wait til you shoot USPSA or duel with a friend on a dueling tree. Texas stars and polish plates ... There are lots of fun steel targets out there.

... But seriously shoot USPSA if you has fun shooting at a steel target.

Just a reminder for safety glasses. I love shooting steel and am not discouraging anyone. Last year I was watching someone shoot a stage at a local match. Got hit in the side of the head from splatter from another bay. Had to have the piece removed a few days later after it got infected.

So, remember to wear your glasses.

the stand it self was about $30 and the ar500 steel plate for $29 online. I've shot it with 5.56 at less then 100 yards and with 7.62x54r and 7.62x39 at 100 yards and not one pit.
