^ That's a cool setup to shoot. I guess you don't have to worry about shooting over the berm

The hill looks pretty small in the picture, but believe me it isn't. That's where the welding tanks are at. It's a nice little hike to get to them... and the highest tank is probably half way up, maybe a little more, so we don't accidently shoot over the hill.

Wish we could setup more close-up AR300/500 targets, but damn those little things are expensive. Lol.

Love the steel targets at Oaktree too, one of the reasons I signed up for a membership last weekend.

We also made a rack to hang some steel targets on that I bought at a local metal supply shop.

*tires you see stacked are to weigh downsome other racks we bring to hang paper targets for sighting-in if needed*
Would love to contribute targets, any of my 'toys', and maybe ammo to your friends range

How do you guys transport your steel to the range? It's so heavy, bulky, awkward. I have been putting it in the card board boxes that it was shipped in but the boxes won't last forever and it's kinda ghetto. What do you use?

I have a friend with a ranch and I sometimes get up there to shoot steel and it is great.

Love steel too. Shoot steel challenge matches and have shot a couple matches that mix steel and paper and in some cases steel, paper and clays (3 gun).

                                Shooting steel

Just picked up a silhouette and hanger bracket from SoCal target works and I'm looking forward to shooting it! Built myself a couple stands the green one was the first just to hang steel. The second I made today for steel or paper all it needs is some paint to look like the first one. Both accept a 2x2. All made from junk scrap laying in our junk bin only cost was the target and bracket. Thanks again to SoCal target works if your looking for some nice steel drop Daniel a line.
