LA Riots /No ammo sales

This thread will be good Information for younger Cal guners. California had a 15 day wait for many years for handguns. In 1991 I bought a 10/22 at B&E guns Westminster.119.50 +tax ,No DROS in 1991. Also no waiting period. Soon to after it was a 10 day wait + 16-18$ Dros, Handguns from 15 to 10 days. Guns like the Russian SKS and M1 carbine were C&R no wait no DROS , When the Riots hit LA made the Gun shops stop selling ammo and Guns . Charlton Heston receved many call from the left . Chuck told then you voted for these laws. Ammo stores in OC were packed. My friend and I went that weekend To The Great Western Show. How I miss that show. Zev shut it down that weekend costing thousands. We met people in parking lot that drove 400 miles. If you want to protect your family buy a 870 express with the bird barrell and a extra 18.5 inch , you wont regrett it. Take care all Cal guners

Yes is was , My typo. B&E in Cypress ran a add for a Colt Viper 4 inch at 229.00 , when I got there they said it was a misprint or something. I asked to see the 8 mm surplus rifle in the add he said they were not here yet. My friend ordered a new Gold cup it came in as used , He paid Terry Tusse to rebuild it. Never went back there.
