Most likely NO. It will probably be considered a new model and since it does not have a mag disco and its LCI won't pass DOJ muster it won't make the list.

The only option other than buying PPT from a LEO would be if springfield would offer an "upgrade" where you send you CA approved XD in to the customshop and they'll swap the entire gun (frame & slide) out with an identical serial number plate.

edit to add, after looking at the link, it appears that the XDm pictured does not have a thumb safety. If all its internal workings are the same they "might" be able to get is approved since all the changes are "cosmetic" in nature. If springfield is smart, they will just release it under a model number that is already listed.

Looks like they're making a "Loaded" version of the XD like the 1911 Loaded.
